Welcome to Festivals & Events Niagara (FEN), home to more than fifty (50) festivals and events catering to every enthusiasm, interest and season.  Hosted by twelve (12) communities and presenting over 750 square miles of beauty, wonder and excitement to explore, Niagara provides a year’s worth of reasons to visit.  

Festivals & Events Niagara (FEN) is an association created in 1997 that evolved from within the special events industry spearheaded by Tourism Niagara.  FEN’s mandate is to unite existing and future festivals and events under one umbrella by sharing resources, partnering with industry peers to increase our credibility and support tourism within the Niagara Region.

GOALS:

• To Give credibility to all Niagara Regional events as an integral part of the tourism industry by increasing visitation and dollars spent in the Niagara Region
• To work in a cohesive and cooperative manor to strive toward and achieve excellence in their festivals and events
• To enhance a working relationship with Tourism Niagara and other regional organizations
• To acknowledge and give recognition to the special events profession and its vital contribution to the tourism industry
• To enhance the overall awareness of Festivals and Events Niagara to the general public
• To develop a regional events brochure
• To organize an awards dinner to recognize industry partners
• To encourage event organizers to utilize TourismNiagara.com, the regional internet site for tourism
• To coordinate a regional volunteer base
• To encourage / support green festivals and events
• To work with all levels of government to promote the event industry
